#IWMC2026 – Programme for the 25th International Water Mist Conference out now!

Hamburg, 28^th May 2026. The 25^th International Water Mist Conference (#IWMC2026) will take place in Prague, Czech Republic, on 7^th and 8^th October 2026 at The Grand Hotel International. Organizer is – as always – the International Water Mist Association (IWMA). Today, the programme for the event was released.

IWMA President Max Lakkonen explained: “As the main theme for IWMA in 2026 is educating the fire protection market, the conference programme introduces a new element: a dedicated workshop organised as part of the event. In addition to this, we have prepared a broad range of interesting presentations, technical discussions and parallel programme activities covering both traditional and emerging applications of water mist technology.

Regardless of whether you are a designer, authority, contractor, manufacturer, operator, insurer, researcher or end-user, IWMC 2026 will provide valuable insights and networking opportunities. If you are involved or interested in the water mist industry – regardless of the viewpoint – this is the place to be.”

Bettina McDowell, CEO at IWMA, added: “Additional highlights are a panel discussion on Annex A of EN 14972, the bestowal of the Ragnar Wighus Award and the exhibition that will run alongside the event where our main sponsors will showcase their products.”
