Dräger makes new senior appointment to its Engineered Solutions and Government Agencies Division

Dräger, an international leader in the fields of medical and safety technology, has appointed Thomas Pearson to lead the marketing activities of its Engineered Solutions and Government Agencies divisions 

 

This news comes as renewed focus is given to Dräger’s Government Agencies division, with its offering expanding to include mobile thermal imaging devices, personal protective and respiratory protective equipment and more, to protect persons placed across the defence and security industries from harm in challenging, high-risk environments. 

 

Thomas will also be supporting Dräger’s Engineered Solutions offering, comprising a number of bespoke training solutions for Refuge, Fire and Rescue operations, and tailormade incident and emergency response workshops to ensure optimised equipment uptime, service and maintenance. This facility also extends to workshop design and the provision of professional cleaning and decontamination products and regimes to further protect RPE and PPE users from harmful contaminants, particulates and carcinogens that may arise from a callout. 

 

Beginning his tenure at Dräger in 2016 as an Internal Account Manager, Thomas progressed to become a Regional Account Manager in the sales team, where he has been placed for the last four years. Holding responsibility for the North East of England, Thomas promoted and sold a wide portfolio of Dräger products, including respiratory protection, drug and alcohol screening devices, bespoke engineered solutions, personal protective equipment, portable gas detection solutions as well as service and training programmes and systems.  

 

Liz Milward, Marketing Manager at Draeger Safety UK, says people with Thomas’ expertise and knowledge are few and far between: “Thomas is the perfect person to take the business into a new era and relaunch the Government Agencies and Engineered Solutions divisions and reach new heights.
