MAWWFRS is supporting Register My Appliance Week (19-23 January) and urging all households to register their white goods, small or large, to ensure their brands know where to find them. Whether machines are newly purchased, long installed, have been acquired ‘nearly new’ or second-hand, registration is vital to help ensure the longest possible safe lifespan.
In the last 12 months, MAWWFRS has responded to 40 incidents involving faulty white goods. We recommend that people register their appliances, so that if there are any safety concerns or product recalls for any of the appliances in their home, they can be informed as soon as possible. We want to help keep you and your family safe in your home.
